Q. Who is State Money Refund Services, and why are you contacting me?

 

We are Unclaimed Assets Recovery Company, engaged in search and recovery of assets that are not claimed by their owners, and we help recover them.

 

Q. Why did not the Government contact me in first place?

 

 

Actually, they may have contacted you. In most cases the agency holding the asset has an address on file that's not up to date, any attempt made to contact the right full owner fails to yield results. Also, due to the sheer volume of unclaimed assets and limited resources, government agencies may not have the capacity to directly contact each individual. When that happens, these funds go unclaimed simply because people are unaware of their existence. 

Now, we (SMRS) have incentive to look for unclaimed assets and its rightful owners; because we get paid on contingency basis of the money recovered, when we succeed on recovering the asset.

 

 

Q. How did you get my Contact Information? 

 

We understand that privacy is important to everyone. We obtain most of contact information directly from the Government System and we gather additional information from Private Sources Database Systems. 

 

Q. Why should I trust you? 

 

We are registered in the State of Maryland. Our firm has been in the business of locating and recovering unclaimed funds for over 3 years. We've successfully reunited many clients with their rightful assets. 
In our preliminary correspondence (mail) we provide information of every agent assigned to any prospective customer. We send out Notarized Contracts with detailed information of our agents and the firm as well. Our process of Recovering Unclaimed Money is transparent and risk-free to our clients. 
 

Q. What proves me this is real and not a Scam?

 

We do send evidence of the existing asset so that it can be reviewed. To those who have received our mail,  should have noticed a Notarized Document with the firm and the agent’s information on it. And we DO NOT ask for Money in process of claiming your Money.  We take the risk of covering the expenses associated to it. 

 

Q. How do you get paid, and how much is the cost of the service? 

 

We get paid only, when we succeed in recovering your MONEY from the Government. Once you receive your Check from the Government Agency Holding the Asset, you will have up to 5 business days to pay us the percentage amount agreed up on. 

 

Q. Can my Attorney file it for me instead your Company?

 

The advantages of using our services is that our Attorneys specialize on this specific subjects matter and you do NOT have to deal with them. Yours may be a Personal Injury Attorney or else, and you may be required to pay an up front fee, also with a likely higher percentage of commission for the service. However, we employ a skilled and professional Forensic team that works on locating the unclaimed asstes and its prospective owners. Your Attorney will definitely be asking our help to learn about the Asset and the agency holding it. Probably, your attorney may be able to file for you, but you may still need our help for the process.
